Colored Classrooms is a non-profit organization established to support educators who teach children of color. There is a great demand to increase the number of diverse educators in the profession and Colored Classrooms wants to do just that.
The purpose of this corporation is to engage in educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. Colored Classrooms Inc.’s purpose is to: Provide education support to educators of throughout the country. Assist in providing educational opportunities for students of color. Deliver resources and materials to support the growth and advancement of educators of color. Develop methods that will assist in recruiting and retaining educators of color.
